International City Mortgage Opens Branch Office in Downey, CA

DOWNEY, CA (PRWEB) April 16, 2013

International City Mortgage (ICM) today announced that it has opened a new Downey retail loan origination branch to serve the residential home loan needs of homebuyers and homeowners in Downey, CA and surrounding communities.

With over 23 years of residential lending experience, primarily in Downey and Bell Gardens, Downey Branch Manager Jose Angel Vasquez has the necessary skills and local knowledge to help area residents acquire home loans that meet their financial needs. His expertise extends to conventional as well as government home loan programs, and he believes that many of the programs available through ICM will benefit local borrowers.

At the moment government insured programs such as FHA are the most popular, and the FHA 203(k) program for purchase and repair is gaining popularity, said Vasquez. But there are also many good conventional programs with low down payments. I educate my borrowers about all these programs to help them make the right choice for their situation.

Vasquez feels that the same values that have given him a positive reputation with the real estate community and local borrowers will ensure the success of his ICM branch. Its important to have leadership skills, knowledge of loan products, and an understanding of all the documents we deal with, but the most important thing is the human factor, said Vasquez. In my childhood I learned the value of respect, dedication, perseverance, honesty, humility, and education. In the military I learned discipline and resourcefulness. The people I work with know I care. I have gained their respect by showing them that my door is always open, that I am always ready to answer their questions.

Were pleased to have Mr. Vasquez join ICM, said Mike Matthews, ICM SVP of Production. His vision to serve the needs of his customers through education and exceptional service are consistent with the overall philosophy here at ICM. He is passionate in his dedication to serve the needs of his borrowers and assist them with every step of the loan process. Were excited to support him in those efforts.
