Hey bud….nothing like old cars and old music and young people who like this stuff. I was young back then, 74 now and still drive old cars and listen to old music, only thing is, I’m getting golder than some of the music..LOL! I have a hopped up ’68 Camaro, a 2012 Camaro ‘Bumble Bee and a ’48 Buick Super 4dr. Sedan. ALSO this group, a ZYDECO group does this tune: Filet Gumbo. They are terrific. Not sure if they are still on here on not now tho. Best to you.

There is a serious mix-up in the playlist – programming error, wrong posts in a script file, or human error? Some songs in the list are in switched order, other items that are replaced by other BB songs that is not in the list!

    2. If you hasn’t finished your comment before another song is coming up in the playlist, your text is wiped out! Bug, glitch or on purpose?

first time i got laid this song was playing

my uncle gene…my moms crazy and wild brother

when i was 17 and a total loser, geek

uncle gene hired a hooker for me…made me promise i’d never tell my parents’

the hookers name…or so she said… was connie

she was real patient with me…

and to this day i am grateful to my uncle gene…

it straightened me out…i went from being an insecure wimp who was shy around girls…to being a bit of a ladies man…self assured around girls

I don’t think it’s weird for anyone to like any song. You like what you like :)

Dude its not wrong im 16 and i own an American graffiti clone 32 duce coupe i race around town a little bit and show off…its always been my dream car ….so no its not weird to think a 32 duce coupeis cool…Theyr cool as hell.

  17. cryrocker July 14, 2013 at 6:22 am #

Is it weird for someone under 18 to think a 1932 Duece Coupe is cool ?
I THINK NOT ! Cool is cool . It can be timeless just like good music. In this song the hook is the harp; and ofcourse the call for help “well I want sombody, to tell me what’s wrong with me ? ” It is almost as good as Dylan “Once upon a time …”

Good choice! I love this song–the Chicago blues sound at its best!

Was aboard the USS Randolph CVA 15 when I first heard this on the ships juke box….Spent about a million quarters on it……Still love it 50 years later.

I wish the Stones wouldn’t so blatantly rip off my favourite songs, but I love the results.

I first heard this song on the radio, in 1959. I was 10 years old. Thought it was the weirdest damn thing I’d ever heard (what does a suburban California white kid know about R&B?). Now it sounds nostalgic but normal. I can’t say which is better.
