This kinda thing makes me want to be one of those tree dwelling hippies to make up for man’s crap. Then I think about life without sourcefed and I click on another video

I was so confused about this video until I saw the date. Haha, very funny SourceFed.

And for anyone wondering, the oil spill featured in the video did actually happen, that part is not a joke.

I drove through it on my way to Little Rock, it didn’t look as bad as it sounded, but it did a great job of holding up traffic

  10. ViktorCruzVEVO July 1, 2013 at 12:51 pm #

    1. Not wanting a simplistic watered down version of the news isn’t narrow minded.
    2. I realize they hammed it up bigger than normal on the 1st, but the reality is they’re very “kiddy” all the time.
    3. Delivery is massively important; “The medium is the message.” Delivery lets Fox and MSNBC polarize masses of people against one another over the same event.
    4. The credibility of the coverage is often skewed by excessive comedic hyperbole
    5. Your 4-line run-on sentence falls apart at the end….

  13. Jeveysgettie July 1, 2013 at 1:59 pm #

Oh please, you come off as narrow minded with a statement so shrewd. Firstly this was an April fools day joke by the editors. Second, “how” you deliver news/information does not matter, it is the validity of the news/information, as well as the depth of the presenters coverage of said articles, teens/ young adults, grow up.

  14. Kevin Sanders July 1, 2013 at 2:27 pm #

    it was April Fools

  15. Kevin Sanders July 1, 2013 at 3:14 pm #

This was on April fools for everyone who thinks the silliness and editing of this was part of a new style

I love how SF covers stories most news outlets don’t touch on, but the childishness of these videos is just getting too much for me. I feel like I’m watching news for kids, not news for teens / young adults. This shit has just gotten childish in the past couple months.

agreed, and personally don’t think its in a good way..

  18. ThisisStickman July 1, 2013 at 5:24 pm #

This is probably the weirdest video I’ve seen from you guys.

I’m in Montana too, and I couldn’t agree more with your comment. A green economy would be wonderful, and we’ve got the solar/wind power up here needed to build it. Unfortunately I don’t think that will happen only because the big oil companies will do their best to stop it :(

  21. Tyler Leonard July 1, 2013 at 7:02 pm #

its called oil sands dont use slurs like tar sands im from Alberta

  22. glitterfreak1982 July 1, 2013 at 7:51 pm #

Did you have fun, dear editors? LOL

  23. Eliza Allison July 1, 2013 at 8:29 pm #

I live in Montana and the Keystone XL Pipeline would travel through my state. Do we not learn from our mistakes? Lets build a green economy rather than continue to shove money and resources into a non-renewable, dangerous industry like oil. I understand that we need jobs in Montana and in the nation, but this is not the answer.
